  • After downloading, double-click on the Netscape Installer that should be on your Desktop to install Netscape.

    • Download Netscape Communicator 4.61 for PowerPC (13.4MB)
    • Download Netscape Communicator 4.08 for PowerPC (14.5MB)
    • Download Netscape Communicator 4.08 for 68k Macs (7.4MB)
    • Download Netscape Navigator 3.0 for Macintosh (5.1MB)

• Windows 3.1

  • After downloading, use the File Manager to move the file to an empty temporary directory. Double-click on the icon to install Netscape.

    • Download Netscape Navigator 4.08 (browser Only) for Windows 3.1 (8.9MB)
    • Download Netscape Communicator 4.08 for Windows 3.1 (15.4MB)

  • If you have difficulty downloading Netscape 4, you may have better luck downloading Netscape Navigator 3 because of its smaller size.

    • Download Netscape Navigator 3.0 for Windows 3.1 (3.1MB)

• Windows 95/98

  • After downloading, use Windows Explorer to locate the file and move it to an empty temporary directory then double-click on the icon to install Netscape.
